Media Release: Warren Shire Council Launches Online Kerbside Recycling Hub

Everything residents need to know about Warren Shire's new kerbside recycling service is now available in one place at Warren Shire Council’s dedicated online Kerbside Recycling Hub.
From "When will my recycling be collected?" to "Can I recycle this?", the online Hub brings together practical information, downloadable resources and helpful guides in one easy-to-access location to answer residents’ most commonly asked questions.
Mayor Greg Whiteley said the Kerbside Recycling Hub was designed to make the transition to kerbside recycling as simple as possible.
"We know our community has lots of questions as we get ready for this new service. That's why we've created one central place where residents can quickly find the answers they need, whenever they need them."
The Kerbside Recycling Hub includes:
- Collection Days & Bin Information – Download your Collection Calendar and learn how to get your bins ready for collection.
- Check Before You Chuck – Learn what belongs in your yellow-lid recycling bin.
- A–Z Recycling Guide – Browse everyday household items and find out how to recycle them correctly.
- The Good Sort Toolkit – Download recycling guides, posters, educational resources and activity sheets.
- Frequently Asked Questions – Answers to the most common questions about the new service.
Mayor Whiteley encouraged residents to explore the Hub before collections begin on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
