• Notice of Public Exhibition - Warrren Shire Council Code of Meeting Practice 2026

  A copy of the Code of Meeting Practice 2026 can be downloaded here.

  Following the release of a new 2025 Model Code of Meeting Practice by the NSW Office of Local Government, Council wishes to advise that Council’s Code of Meeting Practice 2026 will be on public exhibition until 4.00 pm Thursday, 20th November 2025. Public submissions will be received for consideration until 4.00 pm Wednesday, 3rd December 2025.

  Council must adopt a Code of Meeting Practice that incorporates the mandatory provisions of the 2025 Model Meeting Code no later than 31st December, 2025. 

  The Code of Meeting Practice prescribes a uniform set of meeting rules for Council to ensure meetings of Council and Committees of Council comprising only of Councillors are open, accessible, orderly, effective and efficient.
