Warren Shire residents have one week remaining to complete Council’s Recycling Services Survey, which closes Tuesday 7 April.

The survey is helping Council understand how residents currently manage recycling and what options may work best for the community in the future.

Mayor Greg Whiteley encouraged as many residents as possible to take part before the survey closes.

“Whether you live in Warren, Nevertire or Collie, in town or on a rural property, we’d really like to hear from you before Council considers any future recycling options.

“Everyone’s experience is a bit different when it comes to recycling, so it’s important we hear from people right across the Shire”

The survey asks residents about their current recycling habits, access to facilities such as Return and Earn and what matters most when balancing cost, convenience and environmental outcomes.

Mayor Whiteley said the survey was about listening to the community.

“We want to hear directly from residents before Council considers what recycling options may look like in the future.”

The survey takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.

Residents can complete the survey online at: www.warren.nsw.gov.au/residents/recycling-services-survey-2026

Hard copies are available at Warren Shire Council Administration Office and Warren Shire Library.

The survey opens Friday 13 March and closes Tuesday 7 April 2025.
