Nevertire Reservoir Refurbishment update for Nevertire residents

Important update for Nevertire residents.
Preliminary works are underway for the Nevertire Reservoir refurbishment, with the contractor setting up their work facilities over the next week.
To allow Council to set up the temporary pump system, at 10pm on Wednesday 28 July the water supply will be shut down for several hours. The water will be restored by 6am on Thursday 29 July 2021.
Once the pump is installed, it will be tested over several days to ensure it is working correctly. During this testing period, you may notice a slight change in water pressure and flow. This should not cause any issues.
We intend to have the reservoir isolated and drained ready for the contractor to fully commence the works on Monday 9 August.
