From the Mayor's Desk: July 2024

The June Council Meeting saw many important decisions made that may be of interest to the community.

This includes the adoption of the amended 2024/2025 Operational Plan & Estimates, as well as the release of a progress report on our current Delivery Program. You can read more about these decisions and others on Council’s website.

Council is also currently recruiting for a number of key positions, including: Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Librarian / Regional Manager North Western Library, Light Plant Operators, Non-Trade Gardener, Team Leader - Pavement Maintenance and Team Leader - Utilities Maintenance.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who came along to our event celebrating the official launch of the 'Doorways to an Open Air Library' project at the newly refurbished Warren Shire Library. This project was funded through a Public Library Infrastructure Grant from the State Library of New South Wales.
