A warm welcome to Erica Kearnes, our new Librarian / Regional Manager North Western Library. Erica is enthusiastic about joining our community and looks forward to contributing to our excellent library services.
The recent upgrade marks a significant milestone for Warren Airport, reinforcing its role as a vital hub for emergency medical services and Aero Club training services. This $2.37 million project, funded by the NSW Government’s Drought Stimulus Package, was successfully completed despite major delays and challenges. The new terminal building features a training room, office spaces and modern amenities. Join us for the official opening at the airport on Thursday 22 August 2024 at 9.15am.
I’m also pleased to report that Warren’s drought resilience has been strengthened by the completion of a four-year, $1 million groundwater project, improving water access for domestic use and firefighting.
