Across Warren Shire, we’re continuing to focus on what matters most — looking out for our community.
Recent crime incidents in our area have understandably caused concern and I want to reassure residents that Council is working closely with NSW Police to support community safety. Just as importantly, I’ve seen people looking out for their neighbours — and that’s what living in this place is all about. Please stay vigilant and report anything suspicious.
Our crews have been working hard right across the Shire to keep our roads moving with ongoing maintenance and flood recovery works. I know how important safe, reliable roads are.
We’re also planning ahead and making sure we get the balance right when it comes to waste. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to complete the Recycling Services Survey before it closes on 7 April 2026. Your feedback will help shape what comes next.
Warren Shire has always been defined by its people. We’re lucky to have so many who regularly step up and lend a hand. It’s something we should all be proud of. Nominations are now open for the 2027 Australia Day Awards and I encourage you to recognise the people you see making a difference.
I look forward to coming together as a community this ANZAC Day to honour all those who have served our country.
