From the Mayor's Desk - September Council News

There have been several significant developments for Council this month, including the completion of the Public Art on Private Property mural series and the commencement of the Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) and other major road rehabilitation initiatives, to undertake repairs and maintenance on major roads across our Shire.

Council representatives have also been authorised to continue confidential negotiations with alternative health care providers to take over the provision of general practice health services in Warren Shire, following the announcement that RaRMs Health will be withdrawing from the region. 

Additionally, we are pleased to be opening the Warren War Memorial Swimming Pool this October long weekend and look forward to seeing residents enjoying this facility as the months begin to warm. 

Finally, a number of exciting volunteer opportunities are now available to support the operation of our Visitor Information Centre and boost our local tourism economy.
