From the Mayor's Desk - March Council News

It has been fantastic to see the community involved in shaping the future of our Shire through the community workshop held this month and online survey. It is through your feedback that we can develop a strong plan for 2035, thanks to everyone who has contributed their ideas and feedback. Read more on this below.

Earlier in March, General Manager, Gary Woodman, and I attended the 2022 Local Government NSW Special Conference. During the conference we had the opportunity to brief The Hon. Sam Farraway MLC, The Hon. Kevin Anderson MP, The Hon. Bronnie Taylor MLC, and The Hon. Steph Cooke MP on several items relevant to Warren Shire including road maintenance and regional roads, Burrima Walkway access funding, improved Health and General Practice services and the Warren Levee restoration. 

We look forward to sharing the outcomes of these talks as we hear more over the coming months.
